A built-in wine cabinet is designed for a kitchen niche or tall cabinet. Heat is vented at the front on many models, so the unit can sit flush. Capacities often range from compact 24-bottle units to larger hospitality cabinets. Compare with undercounter wine cabinets if the space is under the worktop only.
Built-in models need the niche width, height, depth and ventilation stated on the product page. Freestanding climate cabinets can stand in a room with clearance around the case. Door hinge side and glass colour are worth deciding before the kitchen is finished.
