An undercounter fridge is built to sit under a standard kitchen worktop. Height is usually 82 to 87 cm, so the appliance disappears into the run. Unlike a tall freestanding fridge, it does not take floor space in the middle of the room.
Some models accept your own kitchen fronts. If you want pull-out access instead of a door, compare our drawer fridges.
Undercounter fridges suit compact kitchens, kitchen islands and extra cooling next to a main fridge. Check niche width, ventilation (front or rear) and whether you need a small freezer compartment. Not every undercounter model has a freezer.
