The drawer has a smoked glass front panel. This protects the wine against harmful UV rays, which can shorten its shelf life.

Displaying your wines and controlling the temperature

The module offers variable temperature control between 4 and 22 ºC on the bottom rack. Red wine is stored in the top drawer and white wine in the bottom drawer. The racks are designed so that bottles can be placed both lengthways and widthways. You can choose what works best for your collection to make optimal use of the drawer volume.

The bottom drawer contains two pull-out racks that can be removed to create extra space for magnum bottles or packs.

The Norcool G3 wine drawer is an 80 cm wide undercounter wine cabinet with 2 pull-out drawers instead of a door, for about 44 standard 75 cl bottles. How is the Norcool G3 wine drawer laid out?

There are 2 pull-out drawers with 3 integrated shelves. Bottles lie lengthwise or crosswise, as you prefer, to make the best use of the space. The bottom drawer has two pull-out shelves you can remove for magnums or cases. With a switch inside you set the LED lighting to automatic (on opening) or permanently on.

What temperature does the Norcool G3 wine drawer reach?

The wine drawer has one temperature zone, adjustable from 4 to 22 °C with the digital thermostat. That lets you store wine at cellar temperature or keep it at serving temperature. The door alarm sounds if a drawer stays open for more than 30 seconds, and automatic defrost keeps it maintenance-free.

What are the dimensions and niche sizes of the Norcool G3 wine drawer?

Outer dimensions: 79.5 cm wide, 56.5 cm deep and 82 to 87 cm high, weight 77 kg. Niche: 80 cm wide, at least 82 cm high and 57 cm deep. Ventilation needs 2 openings of 121 cm²; the grilles are included. Only the rear feet are adjustable. Not sure about your niche? Contact us for advice.

The wine drawer has smoked glass fronts. The glass shows off your collection and protects the wine from harmful UV light, which can shorten its shelf life.

How efficient and quiet is the Norcool G3 wine drawer?

Energy class D, about 96 kWh per year. The noise level is 38 dB, quiet enough for an open-plan kitchen. Connection 220-240 V / 50 Hz, cable length 2.4 m, refrigerant R600a. Place it in a room between 16 and 32 °C.

Can I combine Norcool drawer units side by side?

Yes. The G3 drawer fridge, G1 drawer freezer and G3 wine drawer share the same outer dimensions and an 80 cm niche width. That lets you build a clean row of cooling, freezing and wine under the worktop. Combine it with the Norcool G3 drawer fridge and the Norcool G1 drawer freezer, for example.
