The built-in Norcool drawer-fridge module is gaining popularity in the Netherlands. In this article we give you all the information about the Norcool built-in drawer fridge and why it can be a good choice for your kitchen.
Norcool
First a short introduction to the Scandinavian brand Norcool. Scandinavian Appliances AS develops, produces and sells solutions for storing food and drink under the Norcool brand. Since 1978 Norcool has been a leading supplier of cooling units, cold rooms, drawer fridges, corner fridges, wine cabinets and innovative wine-storage solutions. Since 2016 XARO has been the exclusive Norcool importer in the Netherlands.
What is a drawer fridge and which options are there?
The Norcool drawer fridge is a built-in module that can be installed under your worktop and blends seamlessly into your kitchen interior. It is a modern alternative to the traditional fridge and can be fitted with furniture panels that match your kitchen style. The Norcool drawer fridge is also available in stainless steel for an extra luxury look. Both versions have 2 large drawers, 1 small inner drawer and a volume of 180 litres.
Option 1: Drawer fridge with matching kitchen panels
The Norcool built-in drawer fridge can be integrated with matching kitchen panels. This fridge has so-called overlay panels that can be adapted to your kitchen interior. That is a big advantage if you are redesigning your kitchen. The drawer fridge is so discreet that you barely notice it is built in.
Option 2: Stainless-steel drawer fridge
The stainless-steel version of the Norcool built-in drawer fridge has many of the same benefits, but is finished in stainless steel instead of overlay panels. That makes the fridge not only stylish, but also easy to maintain and hygienic. A stainless-steel drawer fridge blends into an industrial or modern kitchen. Stainless steel is a sturdy material, so scratches appear less quickly. Ideal for cook studios, among other uses.
How is the Norcool built-in drawer fridge organised inside?
The inner drawer is designed for storing smaller food items and can, if needed, be mounted, moved or adjusted. The upper drawer can be used for almost all types of food and has a flexible layout. The lower drawer is designed for bottles, drink cartons and heavier products. On the right sits a bottle rack that can store three 1.5-litre bottles lying down. The drawers are fully removable and have dividers and shock absorption.
