What is the Norcool G3 drawer fridge?

The Norcool G3 drawer fridge for your own kitchen fronts is an 80 cm wide undercounter fridge with 2 large pull-out drawers and 1 inner drawer instead of a door. You see everything at a glance without bending down, which also makes it convenient for wheelchair users. Gross capacity 180 litres, net 104 litres. See all drawer fridges and the Norcool range at XARO.

How is the Norcool G3 drawer fridge laid out?

The top drawer has a flexible layout with movable dividers, for almost any groceries. The bottom drawer is for bottles, cartons and heavier items, with a bottle rack for three 1.5-litre bottles lying down, a divider and a removable box for vegetables or potatoes. The inner drawer holds small items such as cheese, cold cuts or fresh herbs. The drawers are fully removable.

What temperature does the Norcool G3 drawer fridge reach?

You set the temperature between 2 and 10 °C with the digital thermostat. The fridge uses compressor cooling, defrosts automatically and has LED lighting and a door alarm that warns you if a drawer is not properly closed.

What are the dimensions and niche sizes of the Norcool G3 drawer fridge?

Outer dimensions: 79.5 cm wide, 56.5 cm deep and 82 to 87 cm high, weight 64.8 kg. Niche: 80 cm wide, at least 82 cm high and 56.5 cm deep. Ventilation needs 2 openings of 121 cm²; the grilles are included. Only the rear feet are adjustable. Not sure about your niche? Contact us for advice.

Can I fit my own kitchen fronts to the G3?

Yes. On this base model you fit the same kitchen fronts as the rest of your kitchen, for a seamless result. Each front is 79.5 cm wide and 34.1 to 34.7 cm high. Prefer a ready-made version? Choose the G3 with stainless steel fronts or G3 with matte black fronts.

How efficient and quiet is the Norcool G3 drawer fridge?

Energy class D, about 116 kWh per year. The noise level is 37 dB, quiet enough for an open-plan kitchen. Connection 220-240 V / 50 Hz, power 105 W, cable length 2.4 m, refrigerant R600a. Place it in a room between 16 and 32 °C.

Can I combine Norcool drawer units side by side?

Yes. The G3 drawer fridge, G1 drawer freezer and G3 wine drawer share the same outer dimensions and an 80 cm niche width. That lets you build a clean row of cooling, freezing and wine under the worktop. Combine it with the Norcool G1 drawer freezer and the Norcool G3 wine drawer, for example.

Why choose an undercounter drawer fridge?

A drawer fridge sits under your worktop instead of standing beside it. That means more usable counter space in your kitchen. Because you pull drawers towards you, everything stays visible and reachable - no bending down or reaching behind items on deep shelves.

The Norcool drawer fridge is also one of the few undercounter fridges that is fully accessible from a wheelchair or seated position, making it an excellent choice for accessible kitchen design.

Norcool drawer fridge G3 - what is new in generation 3?

This latest generation adds several improvements over the G2:

LED lighting for better visibility, especially in darker kitchens
Digital thermostat with precise temperature display (replaces the analogue dial)
Door alarm that alerts you when a drawer is not closed properly
Adjustable rear feet to keep the fridge stable on uneven floors
Improved drawer slides for smoother daily use
37 dB noise level - quieter than most conventional fridges

Temperature range: 2 to 8 °C. Energy label D (116.44 kWh/year). Maintenance-free with auto-defrost.

Built-in dimensions and custom kitchen fronts

We regularly work with kitchen builders and interior designers. If your kitchen company is handling the installation, we coordinate delivery and advise on built-in dimensions and ventilation.

A drawer fridge that fits your kitchen

Choose the Norcool drawer fridge as a space-saving, undercounter alternative to a traditional fridge. This built-in fridge with drawers sits under the worktop and follows the style of your kitchen.

Also practical for wheelchair users. Switch from a conventional fridge to the Norcool drawer fridge.

Important for installation

For the undercounter drawer fridge to cool correctly, install the supplied ventilation grilles as described in the manual. This ensures proper airflow for intake and exhaust.

Plan enough space in the niche for drawer extension (they pull out fully) and make sure ventilation openings are not blocked by adjacent cabinets.
