The Liebherr WSbl 5001 GrandCru is a freestanding wine storage cabinet for 196 Bordeaux bottles (0.75 l), 168.4 cm high and 60 cm wide. One temperature zone, adjustable from +5 °C to +20 °C, keeps your wine at a constant cellar temperature so it can mature undisturbed.
The solid door keeps light out completely. That makes this cabinet ideal if you want to age wine for years, for example in a utility room, storage room or cellar.
Also available with a glass door: the Liebherr WPbl 5001, with the same dimensions and layout.

Solid door or glass door?
The WSbl 5001 and the WPbl 5001 are otherwise identical: the same outer dimensions, 196 bottles and the same technology. The difference is the door.
Solid door (WSbl 5001): keeps light out completely and uses less energy. Energy class E, 97 kWh per year. The best choice for long-term storage in a spot where the cabinet does not need to be on show.
Glass door (WPbl 5001): shows off your collection and looks good in a living space. Energy class F, 113 kWh per year. Preferably keep the cabinet out of direct sunlight.

Which height suits your collection?
The GrandCru with solid door comes in three heights. All three are 59.7 cm wide and 76.3 cm deep; only the height differs.
A wine collection often grows faster than expected. If you are torn between two sizes, go for the larger one, so you have room to add bottles.

Placement and dimensions
The WSbl 5001 is a freestanding model. You can place it right against the wall: ventilation runs through the plinth, with the air outlet at the back.
Climate class SN-ST means the cabinet works properly in a room between +10 °C and +38 °C. A garage or storage room is fine too, as long as it does not get colder than +10 °C.

How the GrandCru stores your wine
Constant temperature: fan cooling distributes the cold air evenly, so the temperature stays the same at the top and bottom of the cabinet. You set the temperature to the exact degree between +5 °C and +20 °C.
Humidity: with HumiditySelect you choose higher or lower humidity. That keeps corks from drying out.
Clean air: the FreshAir active charcoal filter in the back wall cleans the air entering the cabinet, so outside odours do not affect your wine.
Peace and quiet for the wine: the compressor is mounted to minimise vibration. The beech wood shelves are height-adjustable and each carry up to 58 kg. With the clip labels you can see at a glance which wine is where.
Controls, alarms and app
You operate the cabinet via the touch display in the door. If the temperature is too high or too low, the cabinet gives a visual and audible alarm, and if the door is left open too long you will hear a signal.
