The Elica LHOV is oven, hob and extractor in one appliance. A 62-litre combi steam oven, a five-zone induction hob and downdraft extraction sit together in a 90 x 36 cm unit that fits a standard 90 cm base cabinet. The extraction removes steam not only from your pans, but also from the oven as soon as you open the oven door.
Key benefits
- Combi steam oven, induction hob and extraction in one 90 cm base unit
- Extra-wide 62-litre oven: two baking trays side by side
- Steam, air fry and grill from 30 to 280 °C, with 61 automatic programmes
- Five induction zones with two bridge zones
- Extraction up to 1100 m³/h, also from the oven
- Ducted or recirculating with ceramic filters
- Controls via a 7-inch touchscreen and app
- Oven energy class A+, extraction energy class A
- 5-year Elica warranty after registration
An extra-wide combi steam oven
The cavity is 30 percent larger than a standard oven. Two baking trays fit side by side, as does a large roasting tin or a big batch of muffins. You bake with fan, top and bottom heat or grill, and you can switch the grill on for just one half of the oven.
The 1-litre water tank produces steam for full steaming or for cooking with high, medium or low humidity. Bread gets a crisp crust and meat stays juicy. The Air Fry function makes chips and vegetables crispy without a deep fryer.
- 61 automatic programmes: choose the dish and the oven does the rest
- Multi Cooking: up to three steps in a row, for example proving and then baking
- Core temperature probe for meat and fish
- Special programmes: defrost, reheat, keep warm, dry, prove and regenerate
- Rapid preheat, delayed start and end time
- Hydrolytic steam cleaning
- Triple-glazed door that opens automatically and closes softly
Five cooking zones that work together
The induction hob has five zones of 22 x 18.4 cm. The four outer zones deliver 2.1 kW, 3.7 kW with boost; the rear centre zone 1.85 kW. On the left and right you combine two zones into one bridge zone for a large roasting pan or griddle.
Each zone has its own cooking modes: melting, keeping warm and simmering. With Cooking Flow you slide a pan from one zone to another and the new zone takes over the selected setting automatically. Move a pan of boiling water to a keep-warm zone and it stops boiling straight away.
Extraction from hob and oven
The extraction is built into the hob and draws air on the two short sides. The system detects which zones are on and only opens on that side. The power adjusts while you cook and keeps running briefly afterwards to clear the last steam. When you open the oven door, the LHOV also extracts the steam from the oven.
- Airflow 185 m³/h on the lowest setting, 630 m³/h on the highest and 1100 m³/h on intensive
- 62 dB(A) on the highest normal setting
- Alert when the filters are saturated
- Ducted to the outside, or recirculating with regenerable ceramic odour filters that last up to five years
For recirculation Elica recommends a vent in the plinth. Ducting and filters are sold separately; we advise you on the kit that suits your kitchen.
Controls and app
You control the oven, hob and extraction on the 7-inch colour touchscreen. Over wifi you connect the LHOV to the app and to voice assistants: adjust the extraction remotely, start the oven or open the oven door. The child lock locks the controls.
Installation and dimensions
The LHOV fits a base unit at least 90 cm wide and 60 cm deep, against a wall, in an island or in a peninsula. The appliance hangs from the top of the cabinet, so it works with any standard cabinet height. A drawer underneath can be at most 40 cm deep. You choose from three installation types: with the profile on top of the worktop, flush with the worktop, or with a free worktop edge at the front. Each installation type needs a front profile that matches the thickness of your worktop. A decorative panel in front of the appliance is not allowed: the LHOV needs to release its heat.
- Dimensions (W x D x H): 90 x 56.5 x 36 cm
- Worktop cut-out: 85.5 x 49 cm
- Worktop thickness: 10 to 50 mm
- Weight: 90 kg
- Oven cavity: 62 litres
- Connected load: 13 kW at 220-240 V, single or three phase
- Adjustable power limit to suit your electrical installation
Have the LHOV connected by a qualified electrician. The fuse is sized to the power limit you set.
- OnTop: The profile sits on the worktop and protrudes slightly at the front. For worktops of 12 to 50 mm.
- FiloTop: The profile sits flush with the worktop. The front edge of the worktop is milled out for this. For worktops of 20 to 50 mm.
- Free Top: The worktop stays free and visible at the front, without a profile on top.
Installation video
In this video Elica shows step by step how the LHOV is installed.
Front profile, ducting and recirculation
The front profile connects the LHOV to your worktop. Elica makes it in three versions:
- OnTop, with the profile on the worktop: for worktops of 12, 16, 18, 20, 30, 38, 40 or 50 mm (KIT0200874 to KIT0200881)
- FiloTop, flush with the worktop: for worktops of 20, 30, 38, 40 or 50 mm (KIT0200886 to KIT0200890)
- Free Top, without a profile on the worktop (KIT0200891)
For ducted extraction you use Elica and Naber ducting (Compair Flow), out through the back or under the plinth or floor to the outside. Only with this ducting does the LHOV reach the stated airflow and noise level.
For recirculation there is kit KIT0203143: the filtered air returns to the kitchen under the plinth. The kit contains two ceramic LongLife odour filters, a 120 x 94 x 227 mm rectangular duct, an adapter, a chrome trim profile for the plinth and tape. The plinth must be at least 6 cm high.
We advise you on the profile and kit that suit your kitchen.
