Room for 9 bottles

The cabinet, just 14.5 cm wide, holds 9 bottles.

Swisscave bases this on Bordeaux bottles with all shelves in place. Larger bottles, such as a 1.5-litre magnum, go on the top or bottom shelf. The image shows the bottle layout according to Swisscave.

Glass door and lighting

The door is made of two layers of UV-resistant, gas-filled insulating glass. This keeps harmful light out and the cold in. A slim edge of black anodised, brushed aluminium frames the glass. The handle is made of anodised, brushed aluminium. The body is made of black coated steel.

Amber lighting runs through the cabinet from top to bottom; a separate switch turns the lighting on or off.

How the WLU-30F stores your wine

Constant temperature: combined fan and convection cooling distributes the cold air throughout the cabinet. You set the temperature between 5 and 20 °C.

Climate class SN-T: the cabinet works in a room between 10 and 43 °C.

Clean air: the active carbon filter keeps the air inside fresh, so outside odours do not affect your wine. Swisscave recommends a humidity of 50 to 70 per cent.

Peace and quiet for the wine: the cabinet has a vibration-free design and runs on an efficient Hu-HE compressor with a quiet fan. The noise level is 39 dB(A). The refrigerant is the environmentally friendly R600a.

Controls, alarms and security

You operate the cabinet via the control panel, which switches between Celsius and Fahrenheit. If the temperature drifts or the door is left open, you will hear a signal. After a power cut, the cabinet remembers the set temperature.
